Cattle

Sarah grew up with cows, cows, and more cows, so it was only natural to share those experiences with the family. The kids’s cows are a mix of Black Angus, Hereford, and Shorthorn. The  primary use of our little herd is to provide the kids with their annual Fair Market Steers. Extra calves that don't make the cut are sold in the fall.

 In 2021 we finally added in our first official milk cow!! Brownie is a sweet little Jersey bottle calf whom we can’t wait to have big enough to produce milk for the family and pigs.
